Privacy Policy
This reflects the Swiss Data Protection Act (nDSG) and, where applicable, the EU GDPR.
1. Controller
The controller responsible for data processing on this website is Trais Piz AG, Via Maistra 7, 7500 St. Moritz, Switzerland. For any privacy matter, contact allegra@villa-beaulieu.ch.
2. Data we collect
- Enquiry & booking forms. When you use our contact, private-event or guest-chef forms, we process the details you provide (such as name, email, phone, dates, number of guests and your message) in order to answer you and handle your request.
- Server logs. When you visit the site, our hosting provider automatically records technical data (IP address, browser, date and time, pages requested) for security and operation of the website.
3. Purposes & legal basis
We process personal data to respond to enquiries, to prepare and manage stays and events, to operate and secure the website, and to meet legal obligations. Processing is based on the performance of (pre-)contractual measures, our legitimate interests, your consent where required, and legal obligations.
4. Cookies
We use only technically necessary cookies — for example, to remember your chosen language. We do not use analytics, tracking or marketing cookies, and therefore show no cookie consent banner.
5. Third-party services
- Hosting the website runs on servers of Hetzner Online GmbH in Germany, which automatically records technical server logs for operation and security.
- Application backend form submissions are stored in our database with Supabase (Supabase Inc.), our backend provider.
- Email delivery notification emails triggered by our forms are sent via Resend (Resend, Inc.).
- Booking engine room reservations are processed by Kross Travel (villabeaulieu.kross.travel), an external booking platform with its own privacy terms.
- Wine shop the Vinera shop is an external site (vinera.ch) with its own privacy terms.
6. Retention
We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described above or as required by law, after which it is deleted or anonymised.
7. Your rights
You have the right to information about, correction and deletion of your personal data, and to restrict or object to certain processing. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time. To exercise your rights, contact allegra@villa-beaulieu.ch.
You may also lodge a complaint with the competent Swiss authority (FDPIC).
